Did you say RAW

Also on our Tried & Tested page

As you can see the boss, Rusty, the 16yr old border collie was first to check out the new delivery.
Inside the box was some new food, it looked very different from what mummy normally feeds us and you store it in the freezer/fridge.

Once the food was defrosted we had some for our tea, it looked and smelled  so different from our normal kibble.

I looked around and saw Rusty and the others were tucking in so I started on mine. Everyone laughed at me because unlike the other dogs I licked it first.

Yummy it was Chicken and really tasty. I could really get used to eating this. Needless to say it didn't stay in any of our bowls for long.
From reading the leaflets  they do different flavours  ....
Beef ,Chicken , Duck , Low Purine & Phosphorus , Salmon & Turkey.

All I can say is - "give me more!!"

(information below if from Nutriments' website)

We are a small, family run business, and we are all passionate about our pets.  We have been making and selling high quality foods for pets locally for many years, but we decided to develop an internet site for Nutriment for a number of reasons:
- We have seen first-hand the numerous and significant benefits of feeding a good balanced raw diet to our cats and dogs, and those of our many local customers.  We  therefore decided to make it our new mission to educate a wider range of people about raw feeding, and to encourage them to think about what they are feeding their beloved family pets.
- We believe in feeding only the best to our animals.  Therefore we source the best quality meat, bones, fruit, vegetables and nutrients to ensure the best possible diet, with no cereals, grains, fillers or nasty chemical additives.  As we have now managed to source larger suppliers, we are able to produce more products for a larger market.
- Between us all, we have a large number of pets, a massive number of contacts amongst reputable breeders and trainers, and have for many years attended shows and spent time talking to other pet owners.  We are therefore able to draw on a huge amount of experience of how a raw diet can benefit many canine and feline health and behaviour issues, which we are more than happy to share with our prospective and existing customers.

How to feed
A full grown adult dog should be fed around 2-3% of the dog's ideal body weight per day, ideally spread over two meals. If your dog needs to lose some weight, try feeding slightly less than this quantity, or switch to a meat with a lower fat content, until the ideal weight has been achieved. Don't forget that exercise is essential too!
If your pet has been eating the same protein every day for months or years, there is a good chance he or she may develop an allergy to it. Contrary to popular belief, pets need diversity in their diets just like humans do - so don't be afraid to mix up your usual order a bit and give your pet some variety!
