Hi I'm Willow a Cardigan Welsh Corgi
I was born Sept 11 2008.
( anniversary of 911)
When I was born I was very small and weak and my human mummy had to help look after me it was touch and go for a while, But I got strong and pulled though.
My owners say I'm a very clever little dog who picks things up very quickly,
but always up for a good play.
I love to talk but my favourite pass time is to play in my pool, I am water mad .

When I was 4 months old my best friend ( Owner Lottie) got sick and had to start under going many major surgeries and though it all I lay all day & night right by her side

Sadly during one of the surgeries there were some complications and she lost her hearing fully on one side so she cant hear the phone , door , or cars etc. Lottie was worried how she would cope and her confidence hit a all time low , But I took it upon myself to help so I tell her when the phone rings, if someone is at the door and when we are out if a car comes I nudge her leg.
(I've had no training to do this )
The bond the Two of us have is very special and unbreakable
Mummy has found out  the main nerve in her face/head has been damaged  and she will have to live with the constant migraine, and Chronic pain because there is no treatment for them, she's also starting to lose the hearing in her other ear :-( Plus we also found out shes got a few other health issue which have to stay between us.
I also alert mummy to when Frayer is about to suffer an epileptic fit, mummy says this is a good thing, because it gives her time to get Frayer into a safe place so she doesn't hurt herself.
Mummy says she would be very lost without me.

Love willow

Hi I'm Frayer ( Smurf) I'm a 18yr old German Spitz Klein
When I first came to live with my family I was not socialized very much and didn't trust anyone. My Family was told I was no good as a show dog but they didn't mind, they just fell in love with me .They spent lots of time giving me love and attention and showing me that dogs and people can be friends. My owners took me everywhere they went which helped me to come out of my shell. I now love playing with the other dogs and the bond I have with my owners & dog family is unbreakable. I have been shown quite a few times and done very well, winning Best puppies, Best of Breeds, and a group 2. I've also been shown at Crufts which I really enjoyed.
Sadly a couple of years ago (around 2009/10) disaster struck. I was fast asleep on my favourite chair. We are not sure what happened but I fell off landing on my head and shoulder .My owners rushed me to the vets, they were told I was very poorly. I had suffered a stroke and dislocated my shoulder. Down one side of my body I had lost the use of my front and back leg. I was in a bad way :-( and the vets didn't think I would make it .
The Vets gave my owners 2 options
1 - P.T.S
2 - round the clock care and see what happened
My Family chose option 2. For the next few months my owners slept on the sofa with me and rubbed my feet and legs every couple of hours and had to carry me everywhere they also had to hand feed me but it paid off. I took my first very shaky 3 legged steps about 2/3 months later :-) and then a few weeks after I was able to take small 4 legged shaky steps :-)
I have made a 98% recovery. The only thing is now I have a slight stiff shoulder & have fits every now and then, but it doesn't stop me playing and having fun .
My Vets were gob smacked that I pulled though but it was all down to my owners not giving up on me.
Now i live my life to the full getting into everything also
strangely I've also taken to the nick-name "Smurf"!!!
Luv Frayer
