'Twas the night before Christmas,

'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse;
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there;

The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of sugar-plums danced in their heads;
And mamma in her 'kerchief, and I in my cap,
Had just settled down for a long winter's nap,

When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a flash,
Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash.

The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow
Gave the lustre of mid-day to objects below,
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a miniature sleigh, and eight tiny reindeer,

With a little old driver, so lively and quick,
I knew in a moment it must be St. Nick.
More rapid than eagles his coursers they came,
And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name;

"Now, DASHER! now, DANCER! now, PRANCER and VIXEN!
On, COMET! on CUPID! on, DONDER and BLITZEN!
To the top of the porch! to the top of the wall!
Now dash away! dash away! dash away all!"

As dry leaves that before the wild hurricane fly,
When they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky,
So up to the house-top the coursers they flew,
With the sleigh full of toys, and St. Nicholas too.

And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the roof
The prancing and pawing of each little hoof.
As I drew in my hand, and was turning around,
Down the chimney St. Nicholas came with a bound.

He was dressed all in fur, from his head to his foot,
And his clothes were all tarnished with ashes and soot;
A bundle of toys he had flung on his back,
And he looked like a peddler just opening his pack.

His eyes -- how they twinkled! his dimples how merry!
His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry!
His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow,
And the beard of his chin was as white as the snow;

The stump of a pipe he held tight in his teeth,
And the smoke it encircled his head like a wreath;
He had a broad face and a little round belly,
That shook, when he laughed like a bowlful of jelly.

He was chubby and plump, a right jolly old elf,
And I laughed when I saw him, in spite of myself;
A wink of his eye and a twist of his head,
Soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread;

He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work,
And filled all the stockings; then turned with a jerk,
And laying his finger aside of his nose,
And giving a nod, up the chimney he rose;

He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle,
And away they all flew like the down of a thistle.
But I heard him exclaim, ere he drove out of sight,
HAPPY CHRISTMAS TO ALL, AND TO ALL A GOOD-NIGHT!

Hi guys, I must be on Santa's good list because he visited me early 😄.
I received in the post a parcel from Scruffbags ,
it was a beautiful  brown leather collar .
It's designed with a soft and luxurious padded inner and a firmer leather outer.

Also 3 rows of stunningly sparkly rhinestones that are recessed into the collar.
You know how much I Love my sparkle 😍.

I really do love my new  collar its very comfy to wear and doesn't rub on my neck like some collars can do.
It really does sparkle which makes me stand out in a crowd and so far everyone who has seen me wearing it says it suits me very well.

Christmas safety

This infographic from Puppyspot was created to help bring awareness with  the Holiday season coming up.
We thinks its very  important to warn dog parents of the potential risks looming around them.
There are many decorations and foods that we all see this time of year that can be harmful to our dogs.

Dog Lounger

Hi guys, We had a visit from Mr parcel man a few days ago, I've never seen a box so BIG !!! It towered over me, daddy had to open it for me.
It was our new bed from Wild Manor. It's one of their
super comfy loungers, which inside is made from cooling memory foam base, and the outside is made from high quality upholstery fabric .
( Manufactured in the UK )

We have all tested it out from
* Jumping on it
* Digging it up (that's Frayer's favourite thing to do to beds )
* Rolling/acting silly on it
and so far it has past the test with no holes or rips in it 😀
The cover has a zip at the back so you can remove it for easy washing, which is a great idea if your like us and love to get muddy when out! Also you can get replacement covers from Wild Manor if you decide you want a different colour.

As you can see we like to queue up ready to jump in the bed the moment it comes free. It is so comfortable that every one of us wants to curl up for a nice rest on it.

We would all recommend this bed to all our 4 legged friends, and those nice people at Wild Manor do different types of beds for all sizes of us. Plus they are a UK company and make their beds here too.

It's Bath Time

(willow)
It's that time a of year again!!!

Today Mummy gave me and my dad Robbie a bath in some new organic shampoo from
Bonnie & Bailey.
I read the ingredients and the info on the bottle,
It's made up of enriched blends of organic oils
Lemongrass, Rosemary and Chamomile.
Which means it's very gentle on our skin and can even be used on puppies and best of all it smells beautiful.

(Robbie)
My dad Robbie is no a fan of baths, which is why he's giving mummy the look in the photo lol
Robbie prefers to be grubby, but at this moment in time, my dad is clean and smells good. (For how long though is anyones guess).

(willow)
I think you'll also agree I look very sparkly and fluffy after my bath.

I wore heals to the apocalypse.

Hi everyone, I've been doing something slightly different :-)
Our friend on twitter,

asked if me and mummy would review their latest book .....
"I wore heals to the apocalypse".

We got daddy to download it on to mummy's Ipad, So while I've been recovering from my dog flu mummy's been reading it to me every night.

How do I  tell you about it without giving away the story?

Well, this book is great, it keeps you on the edge of your seat with lots of twists and turns with a touch of spy/action and romance.
So if you like a story that keeps you guessing until the end, or a story where you think you know whats going to happen but then you turn the page and the opposite happens, then this a  book for you. It is a really great read.

Another Dorwest Order

Mr Postman dropped off our latest Dorwest order plus a few extra goodies.
We have been using these products for a very long time and we can see the difference they have made to our health for the better. This delivery even contained one we haven't seen before, but more of that later.

What I'll do is tell you about each product separately.

1) Easy-Green Powder for Dogs and Cats-
Easy Green Powder is a great way to give us dogs  ‘super green foods’, which benefits skin as well as being a important part of a healthy natural diet for dogs.
Us dogs were worried when we saw mummy putting some green powder on our food, but by the time she mixed it in we didn't even notice it and we eat all our dinners.

2) Garlic & Fenugreek Tablets for Dogs and Cats.
We all take this daily to help increase resistance to infections by supporting the immune system  plus the older dogs get it to help with their arthritis. What is this you ask ....
Fenugreek has anti-inflammatory properties and in this medicine it’s complemented by garlic, which as well as having antibiotic, antiseptic and anti-viral properties also contains anti-inflammatory compounds. It also tastes yummy in our dinner.

3) Valerian Compound & Tablets
Most of us dogs only take this around Firework night & New Year to help keep us calm from the frightening noises from the fireworks going off.
Our owner puts the right amount of tablets for our size in with our food and if we need a top up, if the fireworks are bad, then she uses the liquid drops.
But Frayer takes it daily all year round because it helps keep her fits under control.

4) NEW Omega Star
This is something new we are trying so i'll have to give you an update in a week on what we think of it, It's full of Omega oils.

We highly recommend Dorwest to all our furry friends, their products have been a great benefit to all of us here.

Thankyou

Hi Everyone I'm Miss Sparky, Willow came with her owners just over a week ago to adopt me :-)

Willow said I had a blog to write because a parcel came with my name on, so here goes.

Firstly I would like to say thank you to the nice lady at
Pawfect Doggie Treats for sending me this yummy parcel.
Inside I found some big biscuit shape bones with my name on each of them.
Wow I wasn't sure what to do, so my owner broke a piece off and handed it me. They were delicious and you can probably guess that they didn't stay in the box very long!!!
"Crunch Crunch" These are so yummy

Sorry my blog is short. I need Willow to give me some tips on what I need to do .

Bringing 15yr old Sparky home

Welcome home Sparky

We have some very exciting news

 We would like to say thank you to The Border Collie Trust GB for helping us along our way to adopt 15yr old Miss Sparky.
 I went along with mummy yesterday  to donate a box full of goodies for the doggies in rescue and to meet Sparky and help bring her home .

We would also like to thank the staff who were there, they were very friendly and very helpful and gave me lots of fuss and made us all feel like part of the family.

We both sat on mummy's knee in the car and decide to take our first selfie together. I think Sparky got the hang of it ok.
She will be a pro like me in no time.

Sparky has met all of us dogs and we are all getting on great. She's eaten all her tea plus some extra treats but even better she loves the doggy tea we have which is good because it's got vitamins in to help with age and joints.

I think you will agree with me Sparky has made herself at home.

We will upload more photos and videos very soon
